ALTAR FLOWERS to the Glory of God are placed in celebration of Lorraine Schmidt’s birthday and from Paul Hudson in honor of his wife Kathy’s birthday.
COMBINED WORSHIP will take place at Faith on Sunday, May 5th welcoming Our Saviour. There will be a sign-up sheet soon for a finger foods lunch afterward.
BOOK STUDY Join Pastor Christina in a book study on “Love and Quasars” Thursdays from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. The study will run weekly until June 13th in person, or on Zoom. Books are available thru the office for $13.32.
HOPE & CARE TOTES give the un-housed population staying at the City Rescue Mission basic hygiene essentials. If you would like to help this cause, please pick up a tote today to fill with the listed hygiene essentials and drop it back off to the church by April 28th.
LAST WEEK TO MARCH FOR HUNGER Every cent raised will be matched by 10%! For your donation to help our local Center of HOPE Food Pantry please use one of the donation forms that can be found on the table in the narthex.
WELCOME TEA All women are invited to a Welcome Tea, hosted by the ELCA Women of Sag. County (formerly the Women of OZ) on Monday, May 20th at 1:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Freeland. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for more information.
SOLAR ECLIPSE GLASSES If you have used or leftover glasses please consider donating them to the church to be sent to Africa. Thank you to Mary Clemens for leading this effort.
VOLUNTEER NEEDED We are looking for a volunteer to manage the church bulletin board. If interested please speak with Paul Hudson.
COULD THIS BE YOU? We are looking for someone creative that either understands some basic tech - or is willing to learn - to help the Saginaw Area ELCA group with online marketing. If you would be interested, please speak with Pastor.
CONVERSATIONS IN CAREGIVING If you are, have been, or going to be a caregiver, come join in the discussion at 1:00pm, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at Our Saviour Lutheran (2525 Hemmeter Rd. Saginaw, MI. 48603).

FINANCIAL INFORMATION: The Church Council believes it is important for the Congregation to know and understand the numbers of our monthly income and our monthly expenses. The budgeted amount of income needed to meet monthly expenses is $19,209. Below is a list of income/expenses for the 2024 year:
