Pastor Michael Hahn

Pastor Mike began serving Faith as the alternative service worship leader and visitation pastor in July 1995, simultaneously serving as interim pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brown City, Michigan. In May 1996, he became our full-time pastor.

His professional life began as a teacher at a Roman Catholic elementary school in Brownsville, Texas. He also taught 5th grade in rural Missouri.

From there, he went to seminary to pursue his call to the ordained ministry. He was ordained in June 1981 and served two rural congregations in northeastern Ohio for nearly five years. Then he received a call to serve Luther Manor in Saginaw as Chaplain, Social Worker, and Director of Admissions.

Pastor Mike has been married to Karen for 28 years. They have three adult children and one grandson. Their older son, Wayne, lives in Tucson, Arizona with his wife and son. Their daughter, Emily, lives in Saginaw. Their son, Andrew, is the Director of Information Technology at a local public school system, in addition to attending graduate school at Central Michigan University.

The Hahns have a family motto, which they have followed: "The will of God will never lead us where the grace of God cannot keep us".
